About

Before moving to Rhode Island in 2003, I honed my skills in management, retail sales, marketing, and special event production for fifteen years.

I discovered my interest in fine arts in college. My major was crafted of classes for interior design, with a minor in art history. Sociology was an area of great interest to me as well, and became an emphasis in my curriculum.

My concentration in Interior Design and emphasis in Sociology parlayed well into retail sales, especially for high-end furniture sales, bedding, and home goods. Sales positions developed into management opportunities in retail that took me to New York City's Lord and Taylor.

I pivoted to begin work in Marketing and Special Event Coordination for the next several years. Once in Providence, I applied these skills to my work in community development for non-profit organizations, before moving on to work for the city.

As the Marketing and Events Director at The Providence Rink / ALEX AND ANI City Center, my skills evolved to include branding, strategic planning, and graphic design.

Outside of work, I was involved in home design and planning. I have personally worked on several homes with varying levels of design, organization, and oversight - from blueprint planning and layout, to kitchen and bath design, to water and HVAC air quality improvement, electrical, and plumbing. I've had involvement in every aspect of several types of homes with varied types of needs.

The launch of Better Flow Home represents my passion for strategic organization, design, and planning converging with my varied skill sets and professional experience.
